Aniqa Rashid is an award-winning Muslim educator, chaplain, mentor, and community leader with over 20 years of experience serving mosques, madrasahs, schools, charities, and faith-based organisations across the UK. A graduate of the traditional Islamic Sciences since 2005, Aniqa combines Islamic scholarship with professional expertise in education, leadership, pastoral care, and community development.
She holds an MEd in Islamic Education, a PGCE in Higher Education, and is currently completing an MBA. Her professional journey spans early years leadership, secondary education, sixth form teaching, NHS chaplaincy, humanitarian aid, and Islamic psychology and healing studies. Aniqa has also founded and directed a children's nursery and has spent eight years serving as an NHS Chaplain, supporting diverse communities through faith-sensitive care and wellbeing.
As a two-time recipient of the Beacon Mosque Award, Aniqa is passionate about empowering mosques and madrasahs to create healthier, safer, more inclusive environments, particularly supporting women in leadership, pastoral, educational, and community-facing roles.
